📅 6–9 September 2025 | 📍 Bali, Indonesia
Volunteer Applications Now Open!
What does the future look like, when it's written by us?
The Just Futures Impact Story Lab, organized by In-Docs in partnership with Docs Society and Alternativa, is more than just forum.
it’s a regional movement—uniting filmmakers, cultural critics, community workers, and changemakers from across Southeast Asia to reimagine better narrative strategy for our futures.
At Just Futures Impact Story Lab, participants will engage in a vibrant mix of critical discussions and face-to-face meetings. The attendees include:
🎥 Storymakers—filmmakers and media creators developing nonfiction-based audiovisual projects
🧠 Promoters—cultural critics, academics, and communicators who analyze, advocate, and expand narrative shifts in the region
🤝 Allies—changemakers, funders, and communities who support and amplify the impact of these stories.
Together, they will explore the power of storytelling to challenge dominant narratives and co-imagine a more just future for Southeast Asia and beyond the region.
And behind every powerful movement, there's a dedicated super team. This is your chance to be part of it!
